Description

Grade II. House. C17, altered. Timber frame with colourwashed brick infill and blackened rubble stone plinth. Left side wall is of colourwashed brick. Thatched roof over 3 bays to right, hipped old tile roof over left bay. Flanking and central brick chimneys, that to centre partly of thin brick, that to right external with coursed rubble stone base. 2 storeys, 4 bays. C20 leaded casements, 3-light to ground floor, remainder 2-light. Board door to right of centre. House now incorporates former barn at right-angles to rear of right bay. RCHM II p. 247 Mon. 18 (B1).
