Description

Grade II. Cottage. C17 altered. Timber frame with painted brick infill. Thatched roof, half hipped both ends and swept down over outshot on east side towards road. White painted brick stack near centre, one 2-light eaves dormer on west side. 1-storey and attic. 2 bays, the northern one curtailed to a half bays Modern door in south gable under modern open thatched porch. Small single light casement to LH, another to RH and 2-light to end of outshot on far right. 2-light attic casement. West side has modern door and 3-light casement adjoining. Interior: Large central stack with inglenook fireplace and chamfered beam with carved stop, both in main room (B1).
