Description

Grade II. House, formerly 4 cottages, part of row. C17 altered incorporating parts of an earlier cruck building. Timber framed with colourwashed brick infill. Thatched roof, brick chimney to RH end and another to the rear at LH end. 4 eaves dormers with 3-light leaded casements. 1 storey and attic, 2 modern doors at RH end and 6 irregularly spaced wood casements to ground floor, 1 storey continuous rear outshot with tiled roof. Interior: partitions either side of entrance bay (formerly No.10) contain parts of blades of cruck trusses of earlier, lower, building. RCHM I. p.310. MONS. 41-45 (B1).
