Description

SITE LOCATED DURING FIELDWALKING A PLOUGHED AREA ON THE CREST OF A HILL: NGR TO CENTRE OF THIS AREA, WHICH IS 200M SE OF MANOR FARM. FINDS WERE C.100 RB POTSHERDS & 4 PIECES OF ?RB TILE; ALSO 2 MEDIEVAL SHERDS (B1).

Found at SP 62981454 on the crest of the hill: two pieces of tegulae and two thick ? Roman tiles; six mortaria sherds and two white rims of mortaria, 3rd-4th century; thirteen other rims and seventy miscellaneous sherds. Now in Bucks Co Museum (B5).
