Description

Grade II House. C17 altered, timber framed refronted in red and vitreous brick in C18, N. bay added with chequer pattern brick to front, S. gable and rear wall roughcast. Old tile roof with brick chimney to RH of centre, and another at LH end. 2-storeys. lst floor band. S. front of 4 bays, upper 2-light casements, lower 3-light except sash window in 3rd bay from LH, half glazed door in 2nd bay with modern open porch. Interior heavily moulded spine beam in central room on ground floor with chamfered joists, large inglenook. Exposed wall and roof framing with curved braces (B1).
