Description

Grade II. Hotel. Dated 1669, possibly earlier in origin but much restored and modernised. Timber framed with brick and painted plaster infill, RH part brick, painted to 1st floor. Tiled roofs, 2 large chimneys with heavily corbelled heads. LH part 2 storeys and attic, 3 oversailing gables each with 2-light window, and 2 storey canted bay windows below, the central one an oriel over the entrance door. Modern leaded glazing throughout. Central yard entry has 4-light casement above. RH 3 bays are C20, 2 storeys, shop front and door to ground floor, three 3-light transomed upper casements. Interior has some old timbering.
