Description

Grade II. Shop, with carriageway, part of block with No.5. C16 timber framed refronted C18 in chequer brick. Old tile roof, that over carriage arch slightly higher with brick chimney to LH ridge which drops to lower level on RH; dentil brick cornice. 2 sash windows to 1st floor, 4-panes wide, in architrave frames, flanking central recessed panel of vitreous bricks. Early C19 shop window below, glazed door to LH of centre with 3-pane window to LH and 5-pane to RH with central horizontal glazing bar, all under small cornice. Arched entry to RH projects slightly, carriageway on RH with gauged brick segmental arch; sash window to LH with flat gauged brick arch with flat brick hoodmould over small loft opening above carriageway.
