Description

Grade II. House, C17 altered C18 and C19. Timber framed; covered with painted stucco, flint and brick to gable, brick infill to rear. Old tiled roof, old central chimney with 2 diamond shafts, later chimney to RH end. 2-storeys, gable to LH, 4 bay front of 3-light sash windows, 1-light above door in 2nd bay from LH, deeply recessed with wide architrave. Rear wing has exposed timber framing and oversailing upper floor. RCHM I p.309 MON.34 (Ivy House)(B1).
