Description

Grade II. Shop and house. C17 timber framed, refronted C18 in brick, now painted. Old tile roof, large brick chimney on ridge between Nos. 23 and 25. 2-storeys, 4 bay front, tripartite sash windows in architrave frames except 3rd bay from LH which has 3-pane wide sash. Ground floor has similar tripartite sash under segmental arch, 6 panel door to RH with old hood on cut brackets, modern 2 small paned shop windows to LH, flanking modern 1/2 glazed door with small hood on cut brackets. High carriage arch to LH bay with sash window above project slightly and have dentil eaves similar to No. 21 adjoining [CAS 11379]. RCHM I p.309 MON.33 (B1).
