Description

Grade II. Two cottages, formerly an inn. C17 altered, timber framed with colourwashed brick infill and part refacing. Thatched roof, half hipped at E. end. Central chimney stack of old thin bricks; second projecting stack at W. end with string courses and weathered offsets and projecting semicircular bake oven at base. 1 storey and attic, N. front has 2 doors. Irregular mocern casements, one 3-light upper casement and 2 casements breaking up into thatch. S. front has 2 small modern flat roofed extensions. Attached weatherboarded outbuilding at E. end under continuation of main roof (B1).
