Description

SKELETON OF MAN FOUND WHEN PLOUGHING. APPEARED TO BE 5ft 10in, EXTENDED, FACING E(?). NO GRAVE GOODS. COMPLETE EXCEPT FOR FINGERS. REBURIED 'BENEATH THE SYCAMORE OR CHESTNUT TREE'. FOUND PRE-1930 BY MR MASON AT HILLTOP IN FIELD CALLED FOX HALL OR FOX HILL (B1). POSSIBLY AT SP7854 2236: EVIDENCE OF DIGGING (B2).
