Description

Grade II. House. C17 renovated and remodelled as a Rothschild estate house later C19. Timber framed with colourwashed brick infill, the upper storey rendered and the gable tile hung. Old tile roof, central brick chimney, later chimney on eaves at N.E. end. 2 storeys, gable end to road with moulded tiebeam, bargeboard and finial. Ground floor with two 1-light and one 5-light leaded casements, modern door in lean-to on LH. 1st floor has one 2-light and a 3-light leaded casement. RH flank elevation has shallow tiled projection with 3-light casement to each floor to RH, the upper one with a swept roof (B1).
