Description

Grade II. House. C16 - early C17, altered and extended. 2 original bays to left have whitewashed rubble stone to ground floor, jettied first floor with timber frame and whitewashed herringbone brick infill over moulded wooden cornice with dentils. C19 bay to right of whitewashed brick with plank at first floor level and rendered gable. Tiled roofs. Brick stacks to right of each section, that to older part with thin brick to base. Older section has 1½ storeys with 3-light barred wooden casements in C19 half-timbered gabled dormers. Late C19 3-light casements with barred top lights to ground floor and 2-storey C19 bay. Panelled door, top-lit, to right of older part. RCHM II p. 239-40 Mon.2 (B1).
