Description
Grade II. House, C18 refronting of older building. Irregular vitreous brick with red dressings, plinth, first floor band course and moulded brick eaves. Old tile roof, brick coped gables, flanking brick chimneys, that to right with 2 square shafts set diagonally. T-plan. 2 storeys and attic, 5 bays. Marginally glazed sash windows, those to ground floor with cambered brick heads. 2 hipped dormers with C19 wooden casements. Central C19 half- glazed door with rectangular fanlight and flat hood on cut brackets. Lower extension to left has C19 casement, hayloft door in gabled semi-dormer above, and blocked dovecote in gable. RCHM II p. 192-3 Mon. 19 (B1).
