Description
SMALL AMOUNT OF TILE FOUND WITH MUCH RB POTTERY. TILE APPARENTLY COMMON IN ONE AREA 18 X 14M CENTRED AT NGR (B2).
LATER WORK SHOWS SITE PROBABLY EXTENDS A LITTLE FURTHER W INTO FIELD THAN PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT. PRINCIPAL CONCENTRATION AT C.SP 8194 0773 (B4).
SP 81950772-82000776. A quantity of first to second century Roman pottery was found by Ian Berry among spoil from a pipeline laid a year previously at Great & Little Kimble. Much of the pottery was presented to Buckinghamshire County Museum (224.73) (B5).
