Description

Grade II. C17 rubble stone house refaced with brick C18. Tile roof with RH gable coiled in brick. Stacks to RH gable and between LH bays. 2 storeys. 4 bays with mullioned and transomed windows to first floor. Ground floor is irregular with 2 angled bays, the RH one with sash windows. Door in brick porch to right of centre (B1).
First recorded as an inn in 1753. Hosted Crown Friendly Society in 19th century (B2).
Sold prior to auction September 2013; described as suitable for conversion.
