Description
Grade II. Small house. C17, altered and extended late C18-early C19. Upper part timber framed with brick infill, ground floor rebuilt in red brick. Half-hipped thatch roof, central brick chimney. 1½ storeys, 2 bays. Barred wooden casements, 3-light to ground floor right, remainder 2-light, those to first floor in thatch. Board doors to right and centre, the latter with gabled wooden hood on shaped brackets. Gable to street has 3-light barred wooden casement with segmental head to ground floor, and paired leaded casement to attic. Rear extension along street is of brick with off-set eaves, tiled roof and brick chimney to gable. One storey, attic and basement, one bay, similar 3-light wooden casements to ground floor and basement, paired leaded casement in gabled dormer. RCHM 11 p. 293 Mon. 40.
