Description

Grade II. Cottage. C17. Timber frame with whitewashed brick infill and plinth to front, plain brick infill and shingles to left gable, right gable rebuilt in brick. Thatch roof, C17 brick chimney to left of centre. 1½ storeys, 2 bays. Ground floor has 2 leaded casements, 3-light to left, 2-light to right, and single barred wooden casement to far right. Single leaded light below eaves above door, paired barred wooden casements in thatch. Central flush panelled door in gabled timber porch with shaped bargeboards. Single storey extensions of brick with slate roofs to left. RCHM II p. 293 Mon. 37 (B1).
