Description

Grade II. Small house, Late C16-C17, altered. Ground floor rebuilt in brick, first floor has timber frame with curved and diagonal braces and brick infill. Thatched roof, central brick chimney. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Old leaded casements, 4-light to upper left, remainder 3-light. Ledged board door to right of left-hand bay. Right gable has similar 3-light casement to ground floor and small square leaded oriel to first floor. Later lean-to at rear. RCHM II p. 279 Mon. 26 (B1).
