Description

Dimensions - Length 173cm, Width 76cm, Depth 46cm.
LEAD COFFIN FOUND C.13M WEST OF 01:000. COFFIN REMOVED UNDER SUPERVISION OF R SANSOME, BCM CURATOR. BURIAL FOUND C.75CM BELOW SURFACE. COFFIN HAD NO LID. UNDER HEAD OF BODY WERE BIRD BONES (B1-3).
REMAINS OF COFFINS WERE DEPOSITED IN BCM (B3) BUT WERE SOLD FOR SCRAP BY CURATOR, EXCEPT FOR SOME FRAGMENTS (B6).
