JAR FOUND DURING REMOVAL OF BOTTOM PART OF LEAD COFFIN. UNGUENT VESSEL (B1-2).
SMALL LATE C3 POT (B3).
C2-C3 UNGUENT VESSEL (ILLUS) POINTS TO PERSISTENCE IN ROMAN TIMES OF A CERTAIN BACKWARDNESS, OF WHICH SURVIVAL OF NON-ROMAN POTTERY FORMS IS OFTEN A FEATURE (B8).
