Description

GRADE II. C18 UNALTERED PAIR OF COTTAGES, 2 STOREYS, COLOUR WASHED RENDERING, PROBABLY ON BRICK. OLD TILE ROOF. TWO DOORS, 3 WINDOWS TO GROUND FLOOR, 4 TO FIRST FLOOR. TWO AND 3-LIGHT CASEMENTS SOME WITH OLD LEADED GLAZING (B1).
Evaluation trial trenching carried out by Archaeological Services and Consultancy Ltd in January 2005 in advance of proposed house extension revealed that the site had been heavily truncated previously with only 19th century finds and a post-hole surviving (B2).
