Description

FIELD COVERED WITH TILE & POT. FLOOR TILES IN SITU WITH PINK ROMAN MORTAR & HYPOCAUST TILES, MUCH DISTURBED BY PLOUGHING & C.30CM BELOW SURFACE. A FEW SHALLOW TRENCHES DUG, BUT EXTENT UNKNOWN. BUILDING, POSSIBLY VILLA (AS HYPOCAUST TILES FOUND)(B1-3).
TEGULA, FLUE & PLAIN TILE FOUND IN 1950'S/60'S (B4-5).
