Description

Grade II. House. Dated GM 1743 on brick between upper right hand windows. Chequer brick with projecting plinth and first floor band course. Thatch roof, flanking chimneys. Two storeys and attic. N. front has three bays. C19 paired casements: brick heads with segmental tops to ground floor, moulded brick at lintels of first floor windows. Central four panelled door in segmental arched opening with hood on cut brackets above band course. Sun fire insurance plaque to right of central upper window. RCHM II p 234 MON 6 (B1).
