Description

Grade II. Small house. C17. Timber frame with plaster panels, whitewashed rubble stone and some brick in gable end. Rubble stone chimney stack forms wall between left-hand bays, stack above partly of thin brick. Half-hipped thatch roof. One-and-a-half storeys, three bays. C20 wooden casements, 3-light to ground floor, paired to attic window under thatch eyebrow in central bay. Board door between right-hand bays has thatch swept down to form hood. single casement to right. Interior: has large open fireplace with carved wooden brackets above lintel. RCHM II p 187.
