Description
Grade II. Row of cottages, originally farm buildings, near site of former manor house. C18, altered. Rubble stone with cambered brick arches to ground floor windows and above blocked openings, moulded brick eaves, tiled roof. Two storeys, six bays. End bays have blocked cart entries. Ground floor has irregular wooden casements and doors in two centre bays and left hand bay. First floor has four 3-light casements in centre bays and single casement in left-hand bay. Hipped roof with stacks to ends of ridge. Range of farm buildings attached at right-angles to rear has rubble stone wall to west, brick to east and tiled roof. Included for group value (B1).
A pair of cottages which were converted in the 19th century from an early 18th century stable block, close to the site of the former Manor (B2).
