Description
Grade II. House. Tall late C17-C18 range with lower cross-wing,possibly early C17, at N.E. end. Timber frame with brick infill, the ground floor partly rebuilt in brick, the upper part of the S.W. end rendered. Old tile roof hipped at N.E. end. Central C18 brick chimney, another external to N. end of cross-wing, other later small chimneys. Tall 2-storey range of 3 bays has some original cross windows, one to ground floor right of S.E. side, 3 to first floor, and 2 to first floor of N.W. side. These have leaded top lights and barred wooden casements below. Other windows are mostly C20 paired barred wooden casements. Irregular N.W. front has C20 lean-to to left. Gabled cross-wing has similar C20 windows and C20 door in side to road. Possibly dated by figure 17 in blue brick headers to centre of S.E. side (B1).
