Description

Grade II. House. C17, altered. Timber frame with whitewashed brick infill, grourd floor of 3 bays to left rebuilt in whitewashed brick. Old tile roof, large brick chimney between right-hand bays. 2 storeys, 4 bays, left bay gabled and projecting. Irregular C19 and C20 wooden casements, that to ground floor left a semi-circular 3-light window. C20 door in second bay. Gabled 2-storey porch projection between right-hand bays has C20 door and paired barred wooden casement above. C20 lean-to with door and casement to left. Range of C19-C20 single storey outbuildings atcached to N.W. corner is not of special interest. RCHM II p339 Mon.3 (B1).
