Description

Grade II. House. Dated 1727 on bricks by front door. Vitreous brick with red quoins and window surrounds, more irregular to upper floor. Plain first floor band course, moulded plinth and eaves. Hipped old tile roof, the lower pitch with pointed fishscale tiles. Flanking chimneys of red and vitreous brick with off-set caps. Right side is of chequer brick. L-plan with C20 extensions in angle and set back to left. 2 storeys, attic and cellar, S. front of 5 bays. Late C19 sash windows, those to ground floor with chequered segmental heads, those to first floor with altered C19 cambered heads. 2 gabled dormers with C19 wooden casements. C20 cellar window to left. Central 4-panelled door with rectangular fanlight and cornice hood on cut brackets (B1).
