Description
Grade II. House. C17 2-bay wing to NE, with C18 range, possibly once a barn, forming L-plan, altered C19, and with C20 L-plan extensions to south. Original ranges have some timber framing with white washed brick infill but have been partly rebuilt in whitewashed brick. NE end is covered with whitewashed render and is partly obscured by C20 lean-to. Half-hipped thatch roofs. C17 wing has central brick chimney and is of 1 ½ storeys, remainder of 2 storeys. Irregular wooden casements, some C19, and doors, C20 extensions are of colourwashed brick and thatch with large bay windows at S end (B1).
AVDC Conservation team note that the building was once used as a laundry for Stockgrove (B2).
