Description

Grade II. Public house. Late C18 re-modelling of earlier building. Red and vitreous brick with moulded plinth and cogged eaves, right gable roughcast. Old Tile roof, flanking brick chimneys. 2 storeys and cellars, 4 bays. Left bay has C20 lean-to extension, remaining bays have 3-light barred wooden casements, that to ground floor right with segmental head. 2 cellar openings. Entry in second bay has C20 lean-to porch. Small gabled porch with board door between right- hand bays. C19-C20 gabled extension to left. Interior has C17 chamfered spine beam with one carved wooden bracket, possibly re-sited.
