Description

Grade II. House. Circa 1600 rear wing, front block early C19. Rear wing timber framed with brick infill, front block coursed rubblestone with ashlar dressings and chamfered quoins. Slate roofs. Front block 3 bays and 2 storeys and rear wing one bay and 1½ storeys. Street front has 4-panel front door in central modern gabled porch. 4-pane sashes with chamfered voussoirs and key stones. Windows wider on ground floor. Flanking brick chimneys. Rear wing has curved braces. First floor south window has 3-light leaded casements. East gable elevation has massive rubblestone stack with 2 diagonally set circa 1600 brick shafts. Interior has chamfered spine beams. Early C19 front block retains original window shutters (B1).
