Description

Grade II. Farmhouse. Early C18. Brick with half hipped old tile roof. Interior has timber-framed cross walls and trusses. 3 bays and 1½ storeys. Projecting rear wing from right hand bay. North front with off centre board door. Ground floor casements; 2 windows to centre bay, the left one a sash. Right hand bay has reused oak framed 6 light ovolo mullioned and framed leaded window, c1600. Stack between left hand bays with moulded cap and three 2-light gabled eaves dormers. Right hand flank has 3-light upper casement over 4-light ground floor window. Walls are chequer brick and most openings have segmental heads. Interior has chamfered and stopped spine beams, old board doors. Splat balusters to stairs and purlin braces to roof (B1).
