Description

Grade II. Block of 3 cottages, formerly one house, extended. C17. Timber framed with colourwashed plaster infill. Left bay c1920 rendered with imitation timber framing formed in cement. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys. Original house of 4 bays with c1920 left bay added. Hipped single storey addition at right. 3 two-light ground floor casements, 5 first floor casements, all 2-light, the left hand one with gable above eaves. Oakdene, left hand cottage, has modern left bay with no ground floor window, glazed door in right bay. Church View, centre cottage, has 6 panel door. Jasmine Cottage at right has board door. Right gable timber-framed with plaster infill. Modern stack between left bays and C17 stacks to centre of C17 bays and at rear of 2nd bay from right with offset caps. RCHM I. 248. MON.5 (B1).
