Description
Grade II. House. C17, extended at left in C18 to form 2 cottages, but now one. Witchert, rendered and colourwashed on rubble plinth also rendered and colourwashed. Thatched roof, hipped at right. 1½ storeys and 4 bays. 2 doors in 2nd bay from left. 2-light leaded casements to ground floor, 2 to left bay. 2-light left hand eaves dormer, 3-light leaded casement eaves dormer in third bay from left. 2-light casement above left hand door. C17 stack in 2nd bay forms lobby entry plan. Left gable stack with 2-light off centre first floor leaded casement. Interior has chamfered and stopped spine beams. To south-west fronting Townsend green is witchert wall rendered on a rubble plinth with a pantile and cement ridge coping. RCHM I. 183. MON.43 (B1).
