Description
Grade II. House. C17, extended at rear C18 and C19. Witchert, colourwashed and roughcast on colourwashed rubble plinth. Old tile roofs. 2 storeys and 2 bays. Central board door. 3-light leaded casements to outer bays. Above door is C17 2-light mullioned window with diagonal bars, now glazed on outer side. Centre stack of C17 thin bricks with stairs in front and entrance forming lobby entry plan. Rendered north east gable, half-hipped south west gable, roughcast on brick. Ground floor sash to south west gable. At rear double gabled witchert addition, colourwashed and masonry scribed render, dentil eaves. Rubble gables, the south one dentilled and with a band. South west range C18, south east C19. Interior has chamfered and stopped spine beams to ground and first floors. Inglenook fireplace. RCHM I. 183. MON.47 (B1).
