Description
Grade II. House. Early C17. Timber-framed with brick infill, some herringbone set. Old tile roof. Witchert outbuilding at west with applied framing and brick infill. 3 bays and 2 storeys, 2 bay west wing set forward of house front. Range of single storey outbuildings at rear. Board door between left-hand bays in front of stack, forming lobby-entry plan. Leaded casement windows of 3-lights. West wing has single light casements in gable angle with house and 3-light front casement. Stack between left hand bays has diagonally set flues. Right gable has single diagonally set flue. East gable elevation formerly jettied over Stockwell, but now underbuilt in coursed limestone rubble. Outbuilding range tile roofed and slated. Tiled lean-to across east part of rear of house (B1).
