Description

Grade II. Cottage. C17. Rubblestone, colourwashed. Thatched roof. Modern bay at left in colourwashed brick with rendered and colourwashed side and rear elevations, apparently a remodelling of earlier cottage. Main cottage 2 bays and 1½ storeys. 3-light ground floor casements, 2 eaves dormers, left one of 3-lights, the right of 2. Right gable plastered with timber principals and tie beam exposed. Brick stack. Stack at left between left bay and modern left bay which has casement and 2-light swept dormers. Entrance at rear. Right gable picturesquely located to that on Jasmine Cottage [CASS 10335] on corner of lane. RCHM I. 127. MON.13 (B1).
