Description
Grade II. Cottage. C17,C18. Witchert, colourwashed and rendered on colourwashed rubblestone plinth. 4 bays with south-west rear wing. 1½ storeys. East or entrance front has left bay as modern addition. Original house of 3 bays. 2 doors, one in right bay with flanking casements, other in original location in front of stack between centre bays, 2-light casements to bays either side, 3-light to left bay. Three 3-light eaves dormers. Stack of old thin bricks between centre bays forming lobby-entry plan type. Further stacks between left bays and to right or street gable. That to street gable has stone stack and brick flue, early C18. Timber framed half gables. RCHM I. 127. MON.14 (B1).
