Description

Grade II. Public house. C17, refronted C19. Left gable has whitewashed brick to ground floor and timber frame with plaster infill above. Front and right gable of red brick. Half-hipped thatch roof, brick chimney between left-hand bays, another external to right gable. 1½ storeys, 3 bays. Barred wooden casements. Irregular ground floor has lean-to to right of centre with slate roof and double doors. First floor has 3 eaves-line dormers with catslide slate roofs, 2-light casement to left and 3-light casements in right-hand bays. C20 extensions to rear. RCHM II p 218 MON 25 (B1).
