Description
Grade II. Cottage. C17. Timber frame with whitewashed plaster and brick infill and plinth of whitewashed brick, render and rubble stone. Hipped thatch roof with brick chimneys to ends of ridge, that to right of C17 brick. One storey and attic. 4 bays, only 2 main bays to centre, have windows: leaded windows to left, 3-light to ground floor, 2-light above, barred wooden window to ground floor right, paired casement above. Upper windows are dormers with slate aprons. Ledged board door to right of main right-hand bay. Small C20 extensions of whitewashed brick with flat roofs at each end, that to right with painted imitation half-timbering. RCHM II p 219 MON 38 (B1).
