Description

Grade II. House. C16 and C17. Timber frame with whitewashed brick and plaster infill. Left-hand bays have curved braces and numbered timbers. Steeply pitched asbestos slate roofs with rebuilt brick chimney to left of right-hand bay. 1½ storeys, 3 bays, that to right slightly lower. Leaded casements, 3-light to ground floor and centre of first floor, 2-light in flanking first floor bays. First floor windows are eaves-line dormers, originally in the thatch. Board door to left of right-hand bay has simple board hood on small brackets and small single window above just below eaves. RCHM II p 217 NON 16 (B1).
