Description
Grade II. House. C17, of 2 builds, altered. Timber frame with plaster infill to rear, whitewashed render to front. Thatched roof, brick chimneys to right gable and between left-hand bays. 1½ storeys, 3 irregular bays. Ground floor has barred single casement and C19 3-light casement, both under small wooden hood, in left bay, single light and similar 3-light casement to right. First floor has 2 3-light leaded windows in thatch. Entry to centre has C19 half-glazed double doors in frame with Tudor arch, and glazed C20 porch. Paired barred wooden casement above just below eaves. Royal Exchange fire insurance plaque between right-hand bays. Single storey extension to left with hipped thatch roof. RCHM II p 207 MON 13 (B1).
