BURIED ON SIDE, C.2 FT FROM SURFACE; FILLED WITH BURNT WOOD & EARTH. NO DOUBT MARKED SITE OF SEPULCHRE (B1).
PEACOCK CONFIRMS PARALLEL TO CAMULODUNUM EXAMPLES SO COULD BE FROM WELWYN TYPE BURIAL (B8).
FOUND DURING DRAINAGE, SPRING 1871 IN LARGE FIELD OPPOSITE FARMHOUSE.
