Description

AT W END (OF PRIORY SITE) IS A SHED PARTLY BUILT OF OLD STONES (B7).
FOLLOWING AN ENQUIRY BY THE OWNERS RE SMALL FLINT-BUILT STRUCTURE IN GARDENS OF THE ABBEY, VISIT SHOWED IT TO BE A SUMMERHOUSE, C18/EARLY C19. NO EVIDENCE IT WAS PART OF THE NUNNERY. 2-STOREY, NOW DERELICT (SEE PHOTOS)(B13).
