Description

A PALAEOLITHIC HANDAXE & POSSIBLY SOME FURTHER MATERIAL FOUND. THE SUGGESTED EXTENT OF THE PIT (NAME UNKNOWN) SHOWN ON 1932 OS 6 INCH MAP WAS CONFIRMED. IT IS NOW AN AREA OF OVERGROWN WASTELAND (B1-2).
