The "two circles" referred to by authority 1 are the remains of two possible Bronze Age round barrows which are visible as cropmarks and have been mapped from aerial photographs. Both are visible as ring ditches. One of the barrows is incomplete and has a central pit, possibly a burial pit, and has a diameter of 20m. It is centred at SU 7904 8479. The other barrow is defined by a broader ditch and has a diameter of 32m. It is centred at SU 7888 8470. A ditched boundary of unknown date, measuring 60m, is visible adjacent to this barrow.
