CONTRACTORS' EXCAVATION REVEALED CRUMBLY PORTLAND LIMESTONE, YELLOWY CLAY & TRACES OF BRICK WALL RUNNING NW-SE & A MAJOR INFILL CONTAINING POST-MED BRICK & SOME PAVING SETTS IN SITU. CELLAR OF EARLIER HOSPITAL ON SITE? (SEE SECTION)(B7).
