Description

'Gasworks (private)'; 'Gasometer (X1)' at NGR (B1).
The gasometer was pulled down many years ago; some foundations & an area of clinker/coke mark the site (B2).
Large country house, demolished in 1935. Gasometer and gasworks were marked on the 1881 to 1900 OS maps, indicating a private gasworks built to supply Brickhill Manor. Nothing visible survives (B3).
