Description

WORKED FLINT, PROBABLY A CORE SEGMENT: A BLADE CORE TABLET STRUCK TO PROVIDE A NEW STRIKING PLATFORM. DAMAGE AT SCRAPING EDGE TYPICALLY CAUSED BY ROUNDING OFF ACTION TO SOFTEN EDGES BEFORE STRIKING FURTHER BLOWS. EVEN PATINATION; SLIGHT IRONSTAINING. FOUND BY E R KENDRICK IN DIGGING WAYMARK POST(BI1)
